The main conference will take place on <strong>11 to 13 June 2025<\/strong>, with a preceding Early Career Event on <strong>10 June<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the conference theme \u2018<strong>Shaping Societal Futures with STI Policies<\/strong>\u2019 the organising committee is now welcoming academic researchers from a broad range of disciplines, as well as STI policymakers, to submit proposals for paper and poster presentations. Submissions related to other topics around science, technology, and innovation policy (broadly defined) are also welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Papers and posters for the conference will be prepared in a two-step process, with abstract submissions invited in the first step, and papers or posters invited in the second step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Before finalising and uploading your submission on the conference platform, please read the following guidelines carefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CALL FOR PAPERS \u2013 GENERAL GUIDELINES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-612b8e48ff73b753b9639fa9486f9cc7\" style=\"color:#639a00\"><a href=\"https:\/\/express.converia.de\/frontend\/index.php?sub=1615\">Click here to upload your Abstract<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Authors are invited to submit an abstract by <strong>31 January 2025<\/strong> to one of the <strong>thematic conference tracks<\/strong> or to the <strong>open track<\/strong>, which will then be peer-reviewed. If the abstract is accepted, authors are required to submit their <strong>final paper\/extended abstract or poster<\/strong> by 18 May 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-386bb4f06d2b46709c12100d39a7eca2\"><strong>Abstract submission process<\/strong><br>All submissions will be managed using the conference platform. Author(s) must insert a 600-1200 word abstract that contains specific information (as detailed below) into the submission form on the <a href=\"https:\/\/express.converia.de\/frontend\/index.php?folder_id=9244&amp;page_id=\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/express.converia.de\/frontend\/index.php?folder_id=9244&amp;page_id=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">conference platform<\/a>. During that submission, authors will be able to add information related to their submission, including all author(s) details, selection of the presenting and corresponding author, the preferred format of their presentation, and the selected track that best relates to their submission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Presentation format<\/strong><br>We ask authors to select a presentation mode from two formats:<br>\u2022 paper presentations<br>\u2022 poster presentations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The organisers will make every effort to accommodate your preferred format on the programme, however, please note that final confirmation of the format of your presentation is subject to capacity and there is a chance that you will be asked to present in a different format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Presenting author<\/strong><br>Please note that authors are expected to present <strong>no more than one submission<\/strong> at the conference, although an author may complete more than one submission as co-author.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Multiple submissions<\/strong><br>If you wish to submit several abstracts, each submission will need to be completed separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Abstract review<\/strong><br>Abstracts will be evaluated through a review process by members of the conference\u2019s organising committee as well as the track and session coordinators. The conference organising committee expects that authors will be notified of acceptance\/rejection by <strong>28 February 2025<\/strong>.
